Dance Program Director & Coach
Coach Dana was a gymnast, cheerleader and dancer for over 15 years. She was an all-star cheerleader and dancer for Lake Mary All-Stars. She taught cheerleading and dance at Lake Mary All-Stars for 11 years. Coach Dana has won numerous awards for her choreography. The following are a few of her most recent:

Cheer Program Director & Coach
Coach Octavious cheered for one of the founding gyms of Legendary Athletics, in 2006 (Lake Mary Allstars). He was also a Varsity Cheerleader and 1st male to cheer for his high school. He has coached every age and every level of All-star cheer. He has been fortunate enough to be a part of teams that have won Cheersport, NCA, and One-Up National Championship Titles. Now, as the Director of the Cheer Program @ Legendary Athletics, he monitors all teams, coaches and choreographs routines.
Coach Jason cheered for 4 years at the collegiate level as well as 5 years working for Varsity/UCA. He was the head Tumbling Coach at Ace Cheer Company in Birmingham, AL for 10 years. He was also a Head Coach for Levels 3-5 at Ace Cheer Company. His teams have won several National Championships including NCA, UCA, CHEERSPORT, Jamfest and WCA. His 2007 Senior 3 team finished the season with an undefeated recorded at all competitions including National Championships. Coach Jason was a 2 time Head Coach/Director at Hot Shots Camp which is an invitation only camp. He has most recently been the Head Coach/Director of Power Tumbling & Trampoline at Ace Gymnastics in Longwood for the past 5 years.
Cheer & Tumbling Coach
Coach Shelly was a gymnast & cheerleader for over 18 years. Her parents own Gymstars Gymnastics in Tennessee, and while growing up in the gym gave her a love for the technical side of the sport, her true passion became clear when she began cheerleading. With both All-star & School cheerleading, Shelly has numerous Regional, & National cheerleading titles. She was part of the University of Memphis Coed Cheerleading team from 2003-2005, where they placed 4th place at UCA College Nationals both years. Shelly also worked as a performer at Universal Studios Japan in the cheerleading show Pentagon in 2006.
She has over 10 years coaching experience with everything from preschool classes to advanced tumbling & stunting. She has coached many athletes, cheerleaders & gymnasts alike, to State, Regional, & National competitions & titles.
Marketing Associate, Cheer & Dance Coach
Coach Christa has been cheering for 14 years and started to add dance to the picture when she was 15 years old. She cheered and danced throughout her whole entire all star career. She was apart of our Envy level 5 team as well as our Senior Elite hip hop team where she won Cheersport and Dallas in 2013! She has attended dance worlds 3 times; the most recent time placing 4th in the whole entire world! Christa started coaching cheer and dance this year and she could not be happier. She loves being apart of both the cheer, and dance world! She’s super excited to further her coaching career and can’t wait to see what this opportunity has to offer!
Cheer & Dance Coach
Coach Brittany started cheering at the age of 9 for the Port Orange Hawks pop warner team. She then was introduced to the All Star world where she cheered and danced from there on out. Brittany fell in love with the structure and drive to success of the sport, and it became her passion! Brittany cheered and danced All Star for 10 years. Six of those ten years was at Lake Mary All Stars where she cheered on several teams and danced. She has won several State and National titles. In 2008 Brittany won NCA Nationals with her cheer team Senior Black in Dallas, Texas. That same year she took Second in the entire world at Dance Worlds with her LMA dance team! In 2009 Brittany was asked to be a part of the Disney Channel Games show on Disney as a cheerleader! It was an incredible experience for her. Brittany ended her All Star career being a proud Level 5 athlete from Lake Mary All-Stars. In 2010, she decided to make a change in her life and move back to NY where she was born and be around her family. Brittany worked for St. Elizabeth’s Hospital as a CNA for 5 years, she truly enjoyed helping people heal and knowing that she could be a huge help in someone’s life. She also ran a Hip Hop program for Center Stage Dance Studio for 5 seasons. She choreographed all her own dances and mixed all her own music for her recreational and competition kids! In March of 2015, Brittany moved back to Florida to further her schooling as a Paramedical Esthetician where she now goes to school at the Florida College of Natural Health and will graduate in June of 2016! She also moved back so she could do what she loves to do, dance! So Brittany is currently on our All-Girl Open hip hop team and she couldn’t be happier! Brittany is truly honored to be a part of the Legendary Athletics family! She can’t wait to continue growing with our program and become a strong asset and role model to us and our athletes!
Jhio De Guzman
Coach Jhio has been dancing since he was 8 years old. He’s been trained in street hip hop styles such as Breaking, Popping, Locking, Krumping and many other styles. He’s still continuing his journey as a dancer with a local hip hop dance crew and as an individual dancer and choreographer. In high school, coach Jhio won high school dance Nationals with Bishop Moore. His dance experience in the All Star worlds consist of numerous National championships some notable few are 2012 Cheersport National Champion with Orlando All Stars, 2014 NDA Championship, 2014 World Champion, 2015 World Champion with Extreme All Stars. He’s very excited to be a part of the Legendary family and be able to share his knowledge and wisdom about dancing with the kids of our program.
Cheer, Tumbling & Dance Coach
Coach Regine started dancing at the age of 4, but did not begin hip hop until she went to Bishop Moore High School her freshman year. Through graduation, her team took the title of NDA high school champions in 2013. Continuing on furthering her knowledge with dance, she became a part of Studio One, Extreme All Stars, and theSquad FL taking the title of NDA champions in 2014, dance world champions 2014, and bronze medalists at Hip Hop International 2014. Wanting to combine her interest in dance and taking care of others she is currently a student at the University of Central Florida studying to become a physical therapist. The summer of 2015 was when she began her coaching career and joined the Legendary Athletics family. “Coaching has been one of the best experiences I’ve had so far and I can’t wait to learn more from not only the coaches, but the kids as well. I am so glad to have found my home with my Legendary family!”
Cheer & Tumbling Coach
Coach Megan has been dancing and cheering for LMA/ Legendary since the age of 4. She cheered up to level 5 (Senior Black) and is still currently dancing on our All-girl Open Hip Hop team. Megan had the privilege of being a member of our Senior Elite Hip Hop team that earned several National & World titles including NDA Champions in 2013 & 2015, Cheersport Champions 2013 & 2015, UDA Champions 2015 and a Triple Crown Champion of 2015! Coach Megan has been to Dance Worlds 4 times with the most recent time in 2015 where they became World Champions! Megan is currently attending the University of Central Florida pursuing a degree in Elementary Education.
